Data Stellare sconosciuta: Durante l'esplorazione di un pianeta che sembra non ospitare alcuna forma di vita, gli ufficiali dell'Enterprise incontrano una donna capace di distruggere le cellule del corpo umano con un semplice tocco. Nel frattempo l'Enterprise è stata inspiegabilmente trasportata a centinaia di anni luce di distanza.
