Data Stellare 2534.0: Arrivando su Ekos, Kirk scopre che lo storico John Gill ha violato la Prima Direttiva, interferendo con il normale sviluppo socioculturale del pianeta. Sceso con Spock, infatti, Kirk si ritrova in una società identica a quella della Germania nazista.
- Questo episodio è stato trasmesso da una televisione pubblica di terra tedesca per la prima volta nel novembre 2011 in fascia serale dopo le 22:00 con rating FSK-16 (vietato ai minori di 16 anni). L'episodio è stato doppiato in tedesco nel 1995 per l'edizione in VHS; questo doppiaggio è stato utilizzato anche per l'edizione europea in DVD.
