Il Professor Stephen William Hawking è uno dei fisici teorici più brillanti del XX secolo.

Hawking ha sviluppato la teoria quantistica della gravità in cui ha unito le due maggiori teorie della fisica, la meccanica quantistica e la relatività. Hawking ha anche formulato l'ipotesi dell'esistenza di wormhole e fluttuazioni quantiche che potrebbero unire differenti universi.

Hawking ha scritto l'introduzione di The Physics of Star Trek.
